Livable wages, benefits – fair labor practices will effect shopping decisions

Last week Joe Biden paid a visit to Costco, bringing the chain into the limelight on its livable wages, good benefits and health-care for even part-time employees. In the meantime, Walmart employees and fair-labor activists have been protesting loudly on UNfair labor disputes. 

We launched a poll yesterday on our Facebook page with the question: Will the way a store treats its employees effect the way you shop this holiday season and beyond?

Our goal is to get enough votes to be able to make a statement on how Christian Democrats, and the public, feel about livable wages and benefits, and let retailers know their actions will effect their business.
